Hey,I like that day!
Hey,do you know "Private dancer" by Tina Turner?
Ive never looked at the lyrics, till now, and, her being a woman and singing it,of course I thought she is singing to an opposite:to a man.
I thought for sure the Private Dancer is a man.
And that is also why its sad, that is what explained the sadness of the song, the tragedy of it.
Cause, its normal when a woman subdues sexually,hm,she is lying at the bottom, the guy on top,I think that is normal, that is just the way,of nature and stuff, right?
So its understandable,you understand.
But here the man was of course subdued to her wishes, her will, because he worked for that-so this is,I think what makes it get to me,and I also feel that expressed in the song is that its a taboo, its all behind closed doors.
Like, that is the harming thing of it.
He dances for money;I mean, the daylight version of it would be the clown, the circusperson, right?
Is also dancing for money, but here its nightlight, behind closed doors,in the shadows, and I guess there must be another person who says you cant come out.
But now what is th essence of the song is Tina Truner saying:he is beautiful.
The song(well, just in my mind) is about the beauty of the private dancer.
Just had to think of it.
