5:35 P.M.
Although I was still sick, I really enjoyed myself this weekend. Kitty and I didn�t go on a date; we went on an adventure and had a great time! Our brief adventure lead me to want to do more activities outdoors.
I didn�t realize until just today that I haven�t been on half the trips I�ve planned. As I read an email about low fares to Mexico it hit me! I don�t get out half as much as I would like to!
I�m not really bummed about it, but I admit that I�m a little confused.
It seems that in the beginning I�ve always had the best intentions to travel more but life just suddenly stops and goes without mention of the things one will give up to sustain a better balance for others in their life.
I�ve been getting a lot of these travel updates in my email lately and they usually have great pictures of tropical islands that I�ve never visited, and never seen. I would love to just pick up one Friday and take a magical 3-day weekend somewhere exotic!
Spring is the perfect season for tropical islands!
With all of the gray clouds that have found their way over my sunshine lately, I just want to break away from my dreary routine!
I have another appointment with the specialist on Thursday which will be followed by many more, and I just want something good to look forward to, so that no matter what kind of news she feeds me I will be ready to take it all head-on!
I want to crowd my apartment and workspace with brightly colored flower bouquets and sweet orange blossom scents!
I want to drive around with the sunroof open blasting my favorite tunes!
I want to take a boat ride to a tropical island and sip frozen drinks with fresh pineapple and little pink umbrellas!
I want to develop an allergy to bad attitudes, and surround myself with positive energy! I want to reclaim the giggles behind my mystery and inspiration!
