I wrote to tell him that my original plans for the weekend have fallen through...
He replied with,
"Come up to Indy!"
Sure I'd love to come to Indy, but it's a little too close to the last minute and I don't think I'll be able to find a flight.
I asked him to give me some more details, and I haven't heard back from him.
Maybe it was all a joke?
Maybe he wasn't serious at all?
Oh forget it!
Why waste time wondering.
Now that I have a new car to make payments on, I don't exactly have the spare cash to go traveling anymore.....
I'll be just as happy sitting on the beach alone, as I would be up there watching some stupid car race!
(Ok, maybe not?)
