The flight to Iowa was great. Once we arrived at the hotel and checked in I went straight up to my room to get cleaned up for the BBQ.
We all packed onto a bus for the BBQ and ate dinner outside. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet more of the agents I had not met before.
After dinner, some of us pilled into a limo and went to a club in Des Moines. I think it was called Aura? We arrived early and the whole place was empty. A lot of the agents became antsy and wanted someplace a little more happening.
I myself took a limo back to my room so I could get some rest before the meetings in the morning. Even after coming in early I didn't get much rest.
The hotel we all stayed in was VERY nice..... I just wasn't comfortable sleeping in another bed.
I can't wait to get home to sleep in my own bed.
